Full Circle Series – Artist’s Statement

Lots of people have moments when they say, “it’s come full circle.”
That is what inspired me to do the “Full Circle Series.”

“The literary or philosophical meaning of life coming full circle often means completing a cycle and a return to the beginnings of something. Like a closure to something.”

As I fast approached a milestone at the end of 2024, entering my seventh decade, knowing I still have a lot of famous musician’s strings, I do not want to have these left when the time runs out.  What do I mean by that, being a jeweler takes its toll on your body and there will be a time when I will no longer be able to do my craft.  So, I am making “circles”, and they will be very affordable. You will be able to own a piece of “Musical History” should you choose to do so. The locket design is the “circle” for this FCS piece.

One-of-a-kind AVAILABLE! READY TO SHIP Wynonna Judd FCS floating pendant made out of Wynonna’s used/played silver colored guitar string. Designed by 2x breast cancer survivor Elisa Guida, the pendant is a 15/16″ circle (almost 1″). The circle is finished with sterling silver wrapped wire. The pendant comes with a 16, 18 or 20″ stainless steel chain. As noted in the description – FCS Pendant is Ready to Ship and will leave my studio in 7 -10 days. Make sure to view the pictures of the pendant in the picture gallery.

Wynonna Judd Bio Picture

Wynonna Ellen Judd, born Christina Claire Ciminella; May 30, 1964, is a multi-award-winning American country music singer. She is one of America’s most widely recognized and awarded female country singers of the 1990s. Her solo albums and singles are all credited to the single name Wynonna. She first rose to fame in the 1980s alongside her mother Naomi in the country music duo the Judd’s. They released seven albums on Curb Records in addition to 26 singles, of which 14 were number-one hits.

The Judd’s disbanded in 1991 and Wynonna began a solo career, also on Curb. In her solo career, she has released eight studio albums, a live album, a holiday album, and two compilation albums, in addition to more than 20 singles. Her first three singles were “She Is His Only Need”, “I Saw the Light,” and “No One Else on Earth”. All three reached number one on the U.S. country singles charts consecutively, and “To Be Loved by You” also hit number one in 1996, her fourth number one and top ten hit. Three of her albums are certified platinum or higher by the RIAA. Her most recent recording was Wynonna & the Big Noise, released on February 12, 2016, and she released the single “Cool Ya'” that same month. Wynonna is most recognized for her musical work, although she has also pursued other interests starting in the 2000s, including writing, acting, and philanthropy.
